I wanted to visualize different connections and relationships in a non-obvious way. I think I mostly resonated with the idea of how our digital man-made world could connect with nature, and what could be an interesting way to visualize that relationship in a positive way.

I tried to imbue the images with a life-like quality, yet have them portray slightly dream-like situations, always with some kind of subversion of the laws of our world—even if subtle. I like to leave what kind of scene is really being represented in an image open to interpretation: Is it documentation of an imaginary exhibition, or is it some kind of utilitarian device?
